Policies, Cancellations & Covid-19

As the world adjusts to the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Good Brows is being 

guided by the recommendations of the CDC, WHO and other leading health organizations.

 

The health and safety of our personnel and valued customers is paramount. We have increased our fastidious, routine of cleaning and sanitizing, and incorporated additional, precautionary measures. These ensure that the salon, and high-touch areas, are as clean and sanitized as possible. 

 

The following are additional, new, Good Brow policies due to COVID-19:

 

  • Please reschedule your appointment if: (a) you are not feeling well, (b) have come into contact with someone not feeling well or who has covid-19, (c) had exposure to covid-19. 

  • If you have a mask, please bring it with you to use while in Good Brows.

  • You must use hand sanitizer when entering the salon. Good Brows has hand sanitizer available in the lobby.

  • If you are coughing or appear to be sick, please reschedule your appointment. I will not be able to service you.  

  • If you cough or sneeze, please: (1) cover your mouth, (2) wash your hands or use hand sanitizer--which we have provided in the Good Brows lobby for you.

  • If you arrive early, please wait in your vehicle until your appointment time.

  • It is important to be on time for your appointment to (1) reduce the number of clients waiting in the salon, and (2) to allow adequate time so your service does not have to be rushed and we can properly clean in between clients. 

  • Please do not bring anyone/guests to your appointment. We cannot accommodate additional individuals in the salon.

  • (For Powder Brow clients only):  If you have to fill out paperwork, please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment time)

Thank you for understanding that we are doing this to keep you, your fellow clients and our staff healthy. We know this is a difficult situation, but we are in this together.


 

Good Brows is not your typical brow waxing salon...

this is brow artistry.

Your expectation is to receive a quality service where you are not rushed. The Good Brows service requires a certain amount of time to give you the precision brow service you have come to expect from us and that we are known for.


 

Our hope is for you to have a streamline experience when you come to Good Brows. 

 

Many of our clients come to their appointment on their lunch breaks...have to get back to work for meetings, or have to pick up their children. We strictly adhere to our policies and client schedule because we appreciate and value your business and the time you choose to spend with us. 

 

How many of you have gone into a salon or spa and had to wait past your appointment time because your artist was running behind? We understand that you have lives outside of Good Brows and have places to be and things to do. We do our part in maintaining an on-time schedule so you are able to get in and out and be able to continue with your day. Also, it is imperative that we have enough time to clean and sanitize the work area  in-between clients.


We need your help to accomplish this...by arriving on time, or within the grace period 

(10 minutes if you have an appointment that is 30 mins or more i.e. brow waxing, tweezing, lash lift or powder ombre brow service).

 

If you are 10 minutes late for your brow waxing or tweezing appointment, it limits the available time for your service and we might not be able to complete the fill in portion of your service in order to have enough time to give you that precision shape for which Good Brows is known. 


 

You have a 3-minute grace period if your appointment is 20 minutes or less. (i.e. lip wax, brow trim, tattoo brow wax, nose wax, chin wax, tint and henna)

Some clients have texted or emailed cancellations to the number or email address of the Automated Confirmation/ Reminder Notifications. This number /email is  only to confirm and remind you of your appointment. We do not receive any response from them.

 

The first of every month is very important! This is when our schedule opens 2 months in advance (i.e, on March 1st, the May schedule will open; April 1st, the June schedule will open). Text or call us to book an appointment only on the office number (703-868-2183).

 

The online booking feature has been disabled because we have so many awesome clients. However, we are still accepting new clients for our Powder Ombre Tattoo service (on a case-by-case basis).

 

If you need to reschedule 24-hours before your appointment, please go to the confirmation link in your email or text, or you can call or text to the office number. 

We hate charging a cancellation/ late fee. Please contact us within 24 hours in advance of your appointment if you need to reschedule or cancel.This allows us enough time to reach out to our waiting list customers to schedule another client for that open time frame.  

 

Important: As long as you contact us within your grace period, you will not be charged a cancellation fee; however, if you are even a few minutes late after the grace period, we will have to reschedule you and charge the cancellation fee. 

 

We are able to grow and fund our business by the services we provide. If an appointment is booked, we make our best effort to send out reminders about the appointment-- emphasizing that if you arrive later than the grace period or cancel after 24 hours, this leaves Good Brows with open time in which we are unable to make income.
